MISSION PROTOCOL: 2027
ROAD TO IRONMAN 2027
IRONMAN Italy Emilia-Romagna
Cervia • 18.09.2027
3.8 KM SWIM • 180 KM BIKE • 42.2 KM RUN
I started with running. Then came marathons, my first triathlons, panic in the water, 70.3 races, an injury, knee surgery and a return to sport. Now there is one goal — the full IRONMAN distance.
Here I document the entire journey to Cervia: training, races, equipment, mistakes, numbers and everything I learn along the way.

I am registered. The goal is no longer an abstract dream — it has a specific name, place and date.
ENTRY CONFIRMED ✓

44TH BIRTHDAY.
226 KILOMETRES.
ONE FINISH LINE.
I could spend my 44th birthday in many ways. I chose a 3.8 km swim, 180 km on the bike and a marathon.
On 18 September 2027, I want to cross the finish line of IRONMAN Italy Emilia-Romagna in Cervia.
2019 → 2027
MY JOURNEY
From my first triathlon to the full distance. Progress was not a straight line — there were strong races, panic in the water, injury, surgery and rebuilding.
2019
The beginning of my triathlon journey
Learning to swim, my first bike and the decision to try all three disciplines.
2019
First triathlon — Triminator Radków
A mountain triathlon, panic in the water and a finish line that confirmed I wanted to keep going.
2020
Silesiaman — a lesson in humility
A difficult race and another lesson in resilience, pacing and dealing with problems on the course.
2021
First IRONMAN 70.3 — Gdynia
My 70.3 debut and the first truly clear step towards a full Ironman.
2022–2023
Injury and knee surgery
A break that stopped my sporting momentum. Regaining my health became the most important task.
2024
The comeback
Rebuilding fitness, consistency and trust in my body — patiently, without shortcuts.
2026
Enea Bydgoszcz Triathlon — 1/2 IM
A return to Bydgoszcz after five years: broken goggles two minutes before the start, a controlled bike leg and a 5:07:35 finish.

THREE DISCIPLINES. ONE GOAL.
01
SWIMMING
From the beginning, this was my hardest discipline. From panic in my first races to regular work on technique and calmness in open water.
02
CYCLING
From my first races on basic equipment to the Felt IA, an aero position and deliberate power management over 70.3.
03
RUNNING
This is where TheSor’s sporting story began. Now the challenge is not the marathon itself, but a marathon after a 3.8 km swim and 180 km on the bike.
EQUIPMENT ON THE ROAD TO IRONMAN
Not a catalogue — just a few tools I genuinely use for training and analysis.
Felt IA
A time-trial bike and an aero position developed for long-distance racing.
Garmin Forerunner 970
Training recording, GPS, maps and data analysis across all three disciplines.
Stryd
Running power measurement and an additional reference point for controlling intensity.
